Previously, I used to book through an agent for my room. Nowadays, the hotels are going direct and you can book rooms through their website. Even if you got your confirmed room through the agent, it is recommended to call the hotel to confirm the booking. Otherwise, you might be out of a room when you turn up.
Overall the experience is great. Recommend it for anyone that can’t get away for long periods.
