Alfred's New Ramblings

Plumbing

Some homes are blessed with high water pressure, which is good if you taking a shower, not so good if you have young children trying to wash their hands or a heavy-handed maid.

So in the interest of water conservation and your pocket, you might want to consider installing cut off valves for each water point.

Turn the valve to roughly 45 degrees to reduce the pressure and have the tap to provide fine control. Not as effective are water control washers available for 5 or 10 cents at most hardware stores.
