I have always wanted to try to bake a cheese cake and hopefully obtain the smooth texture found in commercially made cakes. So another project for Friday Night baking. Due to timing issues, I ended up baking on Saturday morning!
Trying out two new things at the same time, baking a cheese cake in a Bain Marie. Using the original recipe, place the spring form in a large tray of water. At the end of the baking process, cool to room temperature and pop in the fridge overnight.
The top is smooth and inside is firm. Just need a few more minutes in the oven. Refrigerate uncovered!!
My son loves it so much that he ate half of the cake!
