The car’s COE is up and cannot be renewed. I am giving up on owning a car.
I have found from going car-less that the time required for transport is increasing. Duh!. I am okay with public transport as I can avoid peak timing and human traffic jams. What really surprised me was that I was getting back pain from carrying the work bag pack. I moved the cable bag from the outside pocket to the inside to reduce the cantilever effect, but the relief isn’t much. I might move the laptop power adapter to my lunch bag, or replace it with something lighter.
Travelling to areas that have no public transport is really a time sink. I have to rely on shuttles and I boarded the wrong one once. Luckily I wasn’t bounced off.
The new to us car? My wife is driving most of the time.
