{"id":1575,"date":"2012-04-09T22:59:28","date_gmt":"2012-04-09T14:59:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alfredivy.per.sg\/blogger\/?p=1575"},"modified":"2014-02-05T16:09:40","modified_gmt":"2014-02-05T08:09:40","slug":"milomisu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alfredivy.sg\/blogger\/2012\/04\/milomisu\/","title":{"rendered":"Milomisu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A friend of mine posted a easy to make Tiramisu recipe.\u00a0 The strange part here is that she doesn&#8217;t drink and a Tiramisu is alcoholic.\u00a0 She said can make it without the liquor.\u00a0 That got me thinking.<\/p>\n<p>Why go half way, why not all the way.\u00a0 Drop the liquor, change the coffee to Milo and we have.\u00a0 Milomisu! Kids friendly!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients for 4 cups.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Philadelphia cream cheese 250ml, room temp<\/li>\n<li>3 cream crackers (Soda)<\/li>\n<li>Unsweetened Milo drink, cooled.<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup of icing sugar.\u00a0 You can use fine sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Some Milo powder for dusting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Method<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Soak the cream crackers in the Milo.\u00a0 These takes approximately 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Beat the cream cheese and slowly mix in the icing sugar.\u00a0 If you are using icing sugar, you will need to beat till it melts.<\/li>\n<li>Check for sweetness.<\/li>\n<li>When ready, tear off some of the soaked biscuits to line the base of the cups.\u00a0 Pour or pipe the cheese in.<\/li>\n<li>Put on another layer of soaked biscuits. Pour or pipe the cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat until complete.<\/li>\n<li>Cover and refrigerate overnight.<\/li>\n<li>Before serving, dust some Milo powder on top.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Bon Appetit<\/p>\n<p>If you like me are not keen on piping, you can spoon in the cheese and gently slam the cup on the counter.
