{"id":2539,"date":"2013-11-23T23:11:54","date_gmt":"2013-11-23T15:11:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alfredivy.per.sg\/blogger\/?p=2539"},"modified":"2014-04-26T22:05:56","modified_gmt":"2014-04-26T14:05:56","slug":"google-hangouts-and-sms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alfredivy.sg\/blogger\/2013\/11\/google-hangouts-and-sms\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Hangouts and SMS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I finally received the latest version of Google Hangouts.\u00a0 This version, 2.0 enables you to chat via Google Talk and use SMS all in one app.\u00a0 Integration sometimes yield a better solution than the sum of its parts.\u00a0 Except for Hangouts.<\/p>\n<p>Google Hangouts does not do the following:<\/p>\n<p>1. There is no QuickMessage\u00a0 With the old Message app, when a new SMS comes in, you choose have it pops up.\u00a0 This is no where to be found.<\/p>\n<p>2.
