{"id":3097,"date":"2014-10-14T00:09:40","date_gmt":"2014-10-13T16:09:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alfredivy.per.sg\/blogger\/?p=3097"},"modified":"2014-10-14T12:40:22","modified_gmt":"2014-10-14T04:40:22","slug":"upgrade-oneplus-one-to-38r","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alfredivy.sg\/blogger\/2014\/10\/upgrade-oneplus-one-to-38r\/","title":{"rendered":"Upgrade the OnePlus One to 38R"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The OnePlus One, out of the box is a diamond in the rough.\u00a0 The software version out of the box is 22R.\u00a0 You can easily upgrade to 25R using the build in Over The Air (OTA) software.\u00a0 Note this an incremental update.\u00a0 It requires you to have a full working version. installed first.<\/p>\n<p>The next higher versions are 25R, 30O and 33R\u00a0 I have seen how incremental installs fail before, so I am cautious of going that route.\u00a0 A user posted a link to a full version of 38R, all 452MB of it.\u00a0 I quickly downloaded and prepared to flash.\u00a0 To my surprise, my TWRP kernel is gone.\u00a0 Seems that I have accidentally upgraded from 22R to 25R and part of the process upgraded the recovery manager.
