{"id":3124,"date":"2014-10-31T00:26:21","date_gmt":"2014-10-30T16:26:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alfredivy.per.sg\/blogger\/?p=3124"},"modified":"2014-11-08T22:02:14","modified_gmt":"2014-11-08T14:02:14","slug":"fastboot-oneplus-one-constant-reboot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alfredivy.sg\/blogger\/2014\/10\/fastboot-oneplus-one-constant-reboot\/","title":{"rendered":"OnePlus One boot problems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If your OnePlus has boot or random reboot problems, help is at hand.<\/p>\n<p>Constant boot or bootloop, your persist partition is corrupted.<\/p>\n<p>Random reboot, your system partition may contain some corrupted files through OTA upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>Both methods requires unlocking the bootloader. \u00a0A process that will wipe your data.<\/p>\n<p>The steps are here.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Download this file from OnePlus support <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.oneplus.net\/threads\/fix-stuck-at-boot-logo-boot-loop-random-reboot.160199\/\" target=\"_blank\">link<\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Expand the file and read readme.pdf<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For random reboot problems, run batch file 0 to 2.<\/p>\n<p>It might be a good idea to disable the line &#8220;fastboot oem lock&#8221; at the end of batch file 2. In future \u00a0if your phone needs to flash system files, you can do so without loosing data.<\/p>\n<p>For continuous boot problems, you can use the following or run all the batch files.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Put device into fastboot and connect to computer<\/li>\n<li>Type<br \/>\nfastboot flash persist persist.img<\/li>\n<li>If fastboot returns an error, it means the bootloader is locked.\u00a0 To proceed, you will need to unlock your bootloader. This will wipe all your data.<\/li>\n<li>Type<br \/>\nfastboot oem unlock<\/li>\n<li>Run step 2 again<\/li>\n<li>If successful, reboot to recovery, using the buttons.<\/li>\n<li>Clear the cache and reboot.\u00a0 Your phone will boot normally now.\u00a0 Consider putting in a custom recovery, at least you can backup the phone in recovery mode.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If your OnePlus has boot or random reboot problems, help is at hand.
