The Expanse is a sci-fi TV series from SyFy channel. \u00a0It is about human occupation or colonisation of outer space and Mars. \u00a0The series is very well made\u00a0and covers the following about space and space travel.<\/p>\n

  1. Water and air is more important than gold<\/li>\n
  2. There are no ‘force shields’ or ‘inertia dampeners’ or ‘light speed’<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    It is that kind of Sci-Fi depiction where you can win a space fight and lose in the deadly debris shower. \u00a0There are some really revolutionary ways of using technology. \u00a0No more massive flight decks! \u00a0If you can put everything in the size of an iPad mini, you don’t need massive consoles. \u00a0The concept of hand terminals as cell phones is interesting. \u00a0 \u00a0link<\/a><\/p>\n

    Data exchange with other terminals is just a way of hand. \u00a0No peering required or it was cut for dramatisation. \u00a0It reminds me of the good old days of Palm organisers\u00a0beaming contacts.<\/p>\n
