We have been using these bike sharing services during the weekend as family outings. One day as I was taking the bus home, Google Maps said there is a 10 minute walk home. So I thought why not cycle.<\/p>\n
The Mobike next to the bus stop looks good, but the app said the bike is broken. A short walk to the near by HDB block, another Mobike. This one is down for maintenance. There is an oBike next to it. Unfortunately, the battery for the oBike’s lock is weak or the bike is out of place. The next block has two oBikes, small frame, no basket or lights. Yikes!<\/p>\n
This time around the lock worked smoothly. I have a back pack and a small Ikea bag. The best I can do is to hang the Ikea bag off the handle bar. The swinging bag affected my balance badly. I nearly crashed twice trying not to run down any pedestrians or joggers.<\/p>\n
After 13 minutes, I was home. I wonder if I chose walking it would have been faster.<\/p>\n
