I have not been to Orchard for about 2 years, even then it was only in the day time. The last time I stroll along Orchard at night to watch the hustle and bustle, its was like more 5 years ago.

Today after my company’s AD&D I walked from near Shangri La to Orchard MRT. What I saw was, in my opinion really surprising. The vice trade from Orchard Towers has spill over to the main road. There lots of Chinese, Filipinos hanging around the 7-Eleven, dressed interestingly. Very thin tops with ill fitting white bras. There were several Chinese locals looking very alert. Not too sure if they are the pimps or the taxi drivers.

Further down Orchard Road, in front of the Thai Embassy, we have a group of transvestites. Nothing surprising to see them. What is surprising, well to me is that they seemed to be paired with genetically real women.

As I approached Shaw building and through the underpass to Tangs, there are several women hanging around, but I can’t really tell the difference.

No wonder people write complaining letters in the newspaper forum page on the increase in vice trade.

Ok, you can call me uninformed or a hillbilly.
