{"id":438,"date":"2009-12-09T10:58:12","date_gmt":"2009-12-09T02:58:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alfredivy.per.sg\/blogger\/?p=438"},"modified":"2015-12-01T13:39:27","modified_gmt":"2015-12-01T05:39:27","slug":"forcing-disabled-user-to-logon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alfredivy.sg\/blogger\/2009\/12\/forcing-disabled-user-to-logon\/","title":{"rendered":"Forcing disabled user to logoff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is a very sensitive topic, especially in this tough economic times.\u00a0 You may need to disable a bunch of users and you want them offline now!<\/p>\n<p>Windows unlike Novell, does not really kick a disabled user out.\u00a0 Some one sugggested doing this.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1) Disable Cache Logon + assign GPO\u00a0 that run a login script &#8220;shutdown -l&#8221; to these group of disabled users.<\/p>\n<p>2) &#8220;shutdown -l -m <a href=\"file:\/\/\\\\computername\">\\\\computername<\/a>&#8221; then delete his computer account from domain.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Sounds a bit drastic, but it might work. Personally I prefer to reset the computer account.\u00a0 From <a href=\"http:\/\/sgwindowsgroup.org\/forums\/p\/3360\/8436.aspx#8436\">here<\/a> .
