On the PC, these plug-in adapters are using AGP4\/8 or PCIe x16 (128 bit).  Whereas in a typical server, you would have PCIe x4\/8, maybe a legacy PCI 32-bit slots, definitely no AGP slots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some graphics software requires a specific brand or model of adapters and these adapters may be incompatible with servers.
