Skyfire has now gone live.\u00a0 There were significant improve since the last time I reviewed it.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The production version I am now using is 1.5.0.15495<\/p>\n

Skyfire now comes with a handy zoom feature.\u00a0 Moving the cursor over the web page, it intelligently knows what are the objects there, text, pictures and\/or tables.\u00a0 Double click to zoom in the picture or table will fill the width of the screen nicely.<\/p>\n

As can be seen the picture above, text rendering has very much improved.\u00a0 The beta that I first used,\u00a0 convert all the text into square boxes.\u00a0 Now the text and three column layout were kept intact and I could zoom in too.<\/p>\n

The bookmarks function appears to survive its journey from into production.\u00a0 It is kept on the proxy server, not locally in your device.\u00a0 Hence if you have large collection of bookmarks, doing something so mundane can incur data charges.\u00a0 The picture below shows the bookmark and the moving status bar. Need to look into how the bookmarks are managed.\u00a0 Is it tracked by IMEI or subscriber number?<\/p>\n
