Searched through my email, using a few keywords, and found the exam voucher. Booked the exam and started googling for the material.

I found a guide and started crash learning. Paid attention to those points in boxes. Write it all down for better memory retention.

On exam day, I got the unlocked laptop out and started running the exam app. It didn’t like my M1 line, I used my Singtel phone to tether. While background app scanning it found a few apps, recommended to close. I clicked OK and it disappeared. I thought it was background downloading, but it wasn’t. By the time I restarted, it said no exam was available. The chat agent said I was late and had to appeal or pay the rescheduling fee.

After some to and fro via email. They let me to reschedule at no extra cost.

On the second exam day, I started the exam app 80 minutes earlier. Passed all the tests. App scanning again. Again the exam app crashed again!! This time I immediately started contacting support. A technical agent came online and it was due to the VMware USB agent service. Stopped the service and set to Manual, the exam app continued all way to show the “Start Exam” button.

Yeah, I passed.

I attended the ITIL v4 Foundation course in October 2022.
