I am surprised that it took me so long to write about them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The e-readers eg Aura 2 have a minimal amount of RAM.  Usually around 512MB.  Sometimes the EPUB book wasn&#8217;t created properly and had chapters in 100KB in size.  This will cause serious performance issues.  Turning a page can take 10 seconds or more!  Not very user-friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The simplest solution is to split the large chapters into smaller chunks.  This can easily be done by Calibre a free e-book management and editing software. Edit the EPUB file, using the preview window, scroll down the midpoint and click on the split mode button.
