{"id":623,"date":"2010-06-21T14:22:10","date_gmt":"2010-06-21T06:22:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alfredivy.per.sg\/blogger\/?p=623"},"modified":"2015-11-18T10:01:53","modified_gmt":"2015-11-18T02:01:53","slug":"ssl-anywhere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alfredivy.sg\/blogger\/2010\/06\/ssl-anywhere\/","title":{"rendered":"SSL anywhere."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SSL secured access for public websites are growing.\u00a0 This has been mainly restricted to banking and finance due to the extra CPU computation required.\u00a0 With the rise of more computer power and determined hackers, more and more websites are now offering SSL secured access for casual use.<\/p>\n<p>The downside is that you have to type it out yourself eg httpS: or use a bookmark.<\/p>\n<p>No longer.<\/p>\n<p>A Firefox extension called HTTPS Everywhere is now available.\u00a0 You checked the websites that you want SSL encryption and you are ready to go.\u00a0 Or you can use the defaults, select all for websites eg.
