Two project managers are running different phases of a larger program. One PM for the application migration went through without a design or test document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was doing the VM migration as part of Infra As A Service (IAAS), moving customer&#8217; VMs from one host to another.  This is as simple as it gets.  At the last minute, I got hit for where are the end customer approved design documents, implementation and test plans. I was like, huh? you want a design document for a move between hosts? Migration cancelled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to ask what about the other guy, right?  There may be other forces within the customer&#8217;s organization that you will never be in the loop, inter department politics etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suck thumb and learn from this. What about-ism?
