My boss keeps telling me to deliver value for the customer’s money. Similarly, I looked at my suppliers and vendors. My M1 handphone plan sticks out like a sore thumb. At S$12.50 S$18.05, I get 4G service with 2GB roaming data in Malaysia. For 5G service, I have to top up another $2 to S$14.50 S$20.05. This is definitely not value for the money.
Other competitors I can get 5G service for a lot less S$14. On top of all this, I can use my main plan quota roaming in Malaysia, no caps.
After 26 years, I bid M1 goodbye and port my line to Mobile 8. My new plan now costs $10.80/mth with 5G and roaming.
