We were at the Singapore Night Festival at the National Museum.
After the night projection by The Fox, The Folks & the Artusik, by the side of the museum, there was a performer on a swing. The spotlights creating long shadows on the wall.
Me: “Why don’t you go over to watch the performance?”
Dau: “It is the wrong time of the month!. This should be held one month later!”
Me: “Since when you are so superstitious?”
The Singapore Night Festival is held during the seventh month of lunar calendar, Hungry Ghost. When the gates of hell are opened for the ghosts to have their feasts.
Or something like that.
